Cindy Tanaka peacefully passed away on February 5, 2008 from colon cancer at the young age of 32. Diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in February 2007, Cindy has lived the last year full of life and wonderful experiences while simultaneously battling against the aggressive disease. She has touched and influenced the lives of countless people. Cindy has left a huge void in the hearts of those who had the honored of knowing her as well as strangers who have heard her heroic story.
